This hotel is a little way out of town, a walk of about five minutes from the bus station. There is not only a bus stop but a tiny train station almost right outside the hotel door. The room was quite small and there was neither television nor kettle. I did miss the kettle, but I had no need for the television. I signed up for dinner, and the meals were very enjoyable. What was particularly good was the friendliness of the staff. It is only a small place and so I got to know them very quickly. If I returned to Chamonix I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff and owner, in the beautiful setting of the Mont Blanc surroundings. Its a small walk into town, perhaps 10 minutes. Easy to park outside in the street, and the hotel has a small free parking lot of its own. Nice little restaurant in the hotel with good food and generous portions.

Perfect location, only a 5 minute walk to the town centre & amazing views. We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise & our room was great. Spotlessly clean with traditional shutters & a little balcony that looks straight onto Mont Blanc & the Mer de Glacé. It was such a perfect stay for my husband’s birthday.

Our room with a view of Mont Blanc was wonderful. I could see the mountains and the glacier from the bed. The staff were very kind, smiling, and flexible with everything. The hotel garden is a great place to sit with coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We watched the World Cup in the bar with other guests, and it was a really good evening. The food was delicious, and the half-board option was a good choice. When they didn’t have what we ordered, they brought us something else instead. The city center is easily reachable by bus, on foot, or by train."

Hotel location was great. Easy 20 minute walk into Chamonix but without the bustle of being in the centre. Local train and bus stops very close. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small and basic but comfortable, clean and with a good shower. Good choice of food for breakfast.

Although rated as a 2 stars hotel, I'd give it more. Great character, understated skiers hotel also good for other type of guests. Personnel was very friendly and atuned to our needs. Great breakfast, we loved it. Room was very comfortable with a nice ciew of the Montblanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Free parking on the hotel or in the street around the hotel. Nice location, ten minute walk from downtown and 50m from a bus and tram stop, which were free to use during our stay. Only minor point was a mold smell in the bathroom that could improve from air circulation. Oh, and no lifts, so it would be a problem for guests with reduced mobility.

We came here as a last minute getaway for the night and were so happy with everything. From the moment we were there, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and you could tell it was kept to a high standard. The next day our flight was delayed and after speaking to another very friendly receptionist, we were allowed to have a slightly later check out of the hotel so we wouldn’t be stuck outside with our luggage. Overall we were very happy with our stay and have already decided this is where we’ll stay when we visit in the future.

I stayed here twice. Once before my 10 day hike and then again for a few days after my hike. The location is great. The views are beautiful. But most importantly, EVERYONE that works here is so incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel had a beautiful energy and that is all due to the amazing staff. I would definitely stay here again. Other positives: Great water pressure in the showers. Very clean. Excellent location. A 7 minute walk to where the bus picks you up and drops you off from Geneva. Also, less than a 10 minute walk into town. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe.

Whilst it is a short walk out of town, the hotel offers stunning views of Mont Blanc. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a balcony which offered stunning views of the mountain. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was good.

The service was very good. Since we arrived early they gave us early check-in and cause we were checking out early, they made tea and breakfast available at 6am. Very helpful and courteous. Know English quite well.
